spocap. Sports and capture.
Not filming the match, but capturing the motion inside it.
Concept
Stand two or three teammates’ phones at the corners of the pitch and record together.
Each phone extracts the motion of people and the ball from its own video as numbers. Video stays on the phone; only the numbers are combined into one 3D scene.
A 3D replay you can zoom and rotate, highlights stitched from the phone with the best view, and a 2D tactics view for coaches.
What it tests
Can an amateur match be replayed in 3D with nothing but phones?
We measure how often people reopen a match, how often they share it, and whether they want to film the next one.
