spocap Terms of Service

spocap · WorldWideSomething · contact@worldwidesomething.com

1. Service

spocap lets several phones film one match together; each phone extracts the motion of people and the ball as numbers, and these are combined into a 3D replay, highlights and a 2D tactics view. Full match video stays on the phones and is not uploaded.

The 3D scene and stats are estimated automatically from phone video and may differ from what happened. They are replays you may consult when reviewing a decision; they do not replace refereeing decisions or official records.

2. Account and teams

Teams, match records and sharing require signing in with a Kakao, Google or Apple account. You can browse the app intro without signing in. Under-14s may not sign up or use the service. Use only your own account; you can leave anytime with Delete account in Settings.

Whoever creates a team is its owner. The owner can rename the team, remove members and delete the team. A team’s match records belong to that team, and any member can view them and assign names.

3. Filming and people who appear

Before filming, tell the people playing that the match will be recorded, stored and possibly shared, and get their consent. Matches with under-14s need a guardian’s consent. If someone does not want to be filmed, do not film them or do not upload clips in which they appear.

Highlight clips and share links can spread beyond the team. Send links only to people who need them and revoke them in the app when no longer needed. If someone who appears asks for removal, the team owner or the uploader must delete it, and the company may delete it after checking a request.

4. Prohibited use

You may not film others secretly without consent or follow and film a specific person; film places or people unrelated to the match; upload or share video that mocks, harasses or defames others; upload obscene or violent video; or guess invite codes to enter other teams or hack the service. Violations may lead to removal of the records and restriction.

5. Rights to what you upload

Rights to the motion records and clips you upload stay with you and your team. The company uses them only as needed to provide the service (storing, converting, showing them to teammates and through share links). Statistics for improving the service use only numbers that cannot identify a person.

6. Liability

The service is provided as is; we do not guarantee the accuracy of 3D scenes and stats or that it works on every phone. Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence, we are not liable for damage from errors in records or temporary interruptions. You are responsible for problems caused by filming or sharing without consent.

7. Leaving, changes and disputes

When you leave, records are deleted as described in the Privacy Policy and cannot be restored. There are no paid features now; before adding any, we will update and announce these terms. Terms changes are announced in the app and on the web 7 days before (30 days if adverse). Governed by Korean law; disputes go to the court with jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.
