1. What we collect

Location (for delivery and matching; coordinates converted to geohash cells with raw coordinates discarded), account ID, nickname, profile, letters, chats, reports, blocks, device and access logs, payment records (store order IDs; no card numbers). Location can be refused in OS settings; sending and catching letters will then be unavailable.

2. Purpose & retention

Delivery, matching, abuse handling, SC and subscription management, debugging. Delivered letters may persist in recipient inboxes, backups, and abuse-review storage, so account deletion removes your device and profile copies but not necessarily recipients’ copies or legally retained records. Dispute and investigation records are kept separately for statutory periods.

3. Sharing & processors

Payment (RevenueCat), notifications (Expo Push), and infrastructure (Supabase); server locations, transferred items, purposes, and periods are announced on change. No third-party sharing by default, except with consent, legal process, or imminent risk (self-harm, child safety) with minimum data to rescue or law enforcement.

4. Rights & age

Request access, correction, deletion, or restriction by email. Under-12s may not use the service; birth year is verified at sign-up. Ages 12 to 18 may have restricted direct exposure to adults. Arrival and matching alerts are non-promotional; night pushes (21:00–08:00) can be disabled in settings.
